The Lavender House

Built in circa 1890's The Lavender House, Hellboda Estate is a former tea planter's residence nestled in the historic tea fields of Pussellawa in Ceylon . Its comfortable surroundings are combined with beautifully tended gardens to create idyllic settings.

Whilst open log fires blaze in the hearths in winter and fresh flowers adorn the mantel pieces in summer, the Lavender House is perfectly situated to explore the picturesque tea fields of Ceylon .

The Lavender House remains one of the few tea estate bungalows designed by the British with its original wooden shingle roof. Now beautifully restored, it offers comfort, peace and privacy.

Outdoor pursuits include an infinity swimming pool overlooking stunning tea fields and clay court tennis.
